As part of our commitment to comply with the local regulatory requirement and Financial Action Task Force Value Transfer Requirement (Travel Rule), Sparrow is required to collect additional information for your deposit transaction.
Whitelisting is a process to verify the wallet ownership. If an address is provided when adding a deposit address, it will be usable as a withdrawal address when verified.
You can add and verify whitelist addresses in advance to expedite the processing time for your deposits and withdrawals.
Note:
- Only private wallet addresses can be added as both deposit and withdrawal whitelist addresses (with both deposit and withdrawal access).
- Exchange wallet addresses can only be added as withdrawal whitelist addresses (with withdrawal access).
- Due to the nature of the BTC network, you may need to verify your deposit at every transaction.
